Good Samaritan Hospital Testing Drone Use

VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) - Good Samaritan Hospital's Chief Operating Officer Adam Thacker says the hospital is always thinking about ways to improve workflow.

This time, the hospital is looking at using drones to efficiently transport labs and supplies.

"Ideally it would remove the manual labor of getting a vehicle, carrying supplies to one location, picking them up in the back, and possibly having to make multiple runs in a day," said Thacker.

The hospital recently partnered with technology company 'Arrive' to begin testing the use of drones.
